EVO GT700 - GT2 10.3 @ 211 KM/HR - Post for Bahrain 996TT
Im not going to be skeptical and get nailed for it... but I know that our evo8 runs 1.2 and 1.3s and its on full slicks... runs high 8s.. thats a really tough to get 60ft. on any tire... and we are spraying 100 shot on on 800 rwhp motor on a car that weighs 2400 lbs.

what does it mean with worse 60ft times and higher miles per hour??

I had a slow 1.8 60', Marty. Stock TT's have gotten better 60' times than I had that day.

the gt800 is a faster car but i cant put the power on the ground it did 10.8@212km/n which is it not bad but my clutch was slipping really bad all the way till end of fourth gear cause i slipped the clutch at launch
the second run in the GT800 i broke the rear axles
we just installed new axles and hopefully tomorrow will break into 9s
wish me luck guys
todd thank you for all the help and support you gave me to achieve those numbers

i know 1.3 is hard to believe but this what happen and this is what i have in my time slip and i have a video of it which i will up-load as i promised in few hours .
i know you wont believe me but yesterday on my GT800 run i did 1.246 @60ft which is hard to believe too and 1/4 mile of 10.364 @ 214.87
i think my car is too low i believe the 60ft sensor reads wrong because of something to do with both of my porsches its only doing it on my cars most of the people in the track run 1.35 to 1.58 except one car who did 1.1 and a 1/4 of 6.72 @ 335km/h 69 camaro pat mussey x-owner car

First congratulations on your run. Too bad you could not attend the last shootout Speed Trip 7, it was great fun.
I find 1.3 seconds to be unbelievable, or you would have the fastest 0-60mph ever on record for a Porsche 911, which by the trap speed achieved, I doubt it is true.. I am in no way doubting your word, not at all.
Here is what I suggest. It happens that my AX 22 GPS device is in Bahrain right now, at a friend's house. Please let m eknow when I can send it to you so that you put it in your car and measure the quartermile again.
A common friend of ours will hand it over to you. Could you do this tomorrow or Sunday?
Please let me know.
Cheers
Jean

the organizer assumed that my car is low or something to do with the car it self causing the sensor to read a wrong 60ft
but i have a question why cant i get 1.3 why is it hard to believe what if our track has good traction or its differnt than the tracks in u.s.

Awesome job to say the least. For learning purpose, I love to see the video of that launch.
Since the 9s snake can only get 1.5s best.

but even if you give me the device where can i use it the drag race circut is closed for the season and even if i try it in public roads i wont have the traction like on the drag strip but i will do i know how fast both of my cars
and you will be impressed why dont you come over and drive my car you will be shocked for sure especially when you see the speedometer showing 349 km/h in 2.3 km distance
Cant wait to see the video man.. i cant believe how many non believer's we have, maybe it was an error, maybe your car gets amazing traction due to track conditions and driver ability, who knows! All i know is its on paper and on video so you say, nothing more to do thent o applaud you, goodluck in your future runs!
