I pulled up to a black one today driving home. The car looks and sounds incredible. Much more of an exotic tone than my Turbo. I was surprised however how easily I was able to pull away from the car. We "played" for like 20 mins and I think the Aston owner was very surprised as well.

My car has the FabSpeed & Upsolute and was really no match from 20-100 mph.

Beautiful car but a bit dissapointing in performance.

 

The Vanquish is a luxary touring car. Did you get to hear it start? Now that is a treat.

 

Your fabspeed and ecu upgrade will definitely put you well into the 500+HP performance bracket, so dont be too disappointed that you pulled away with ease!

 

No question, it is on another level. However, I think a lot of us on this board forget how fast our cars really are.....

CJV, Buddy, Tyson etc. are on another planet when it comes to speed, but even the "slow" guys on this board really have incredible machines!

You are so right. Imagine, a 996tt with a little over 500 rwhp has as much power as the Porsche GT1 was running at Le Mans.

 

My car is still bone stock. It's pretty silly how much faster it is than almost everything out there that doesn't cost more than $200K. Most people here are a little too used to their speed. I just got this car from my C2, so I'm not used to it yet and still giggle when I get on it. I can't imagine how fast some of these modded cars are!

 

Im almost positive you will soon be going this route. It's an addiction that can only be satiated with more power, etc.

no doubt its an addiction, just got my car 3 weeks ago and every weekend since it is at the shop getting something new. But thats not all, every night (and even at the office) I'm looking at different threads on this forum absorbing all the info that you guys are providing and looking for more things to add. Does it ever end? Its crazy!!! My girlfriend is so pissed at me. All I do now is work, surf and play with my car. Hopefully my x-mas present to her will buy me some more time, ha ha.

The Vanquish is just SICK!!
I rode in my friend's a few weeks ago and man - all that quilted suede, sweet ignition button and tuned exhaust are a feast fothe senses...Its not that slow though, you guys are just used to TT speed

 

Anyone see the NFL commercial outside Giant's Stadium with the fan in the empty parking lot taunting Strahan? Strahan is standing next to a Vanquish and I wonder if it's his. Tiki drives a Maserati coupe.

 

The Vanquish is probably one of the best sounding cars on the market! Its torquey and has some power, but I am used to the Turbo's power, so there is no comparison!

 

I think it's the best looking exotic on the market.
