PSS9 adjustments.

I know there have been alot of recent posts about this, but originally had my PSS9's at 6/6 from the dealer. I then made them 4/3, but think it is still too soft. Do people run them at 2/1, and would I have a noticable difference in feeling?

Also, I noticed that the smaller springs on the rear set of coilovers are completely 100% compressed and have no room for movement. Is this normal.

First, the settings are about changing the damper rate (not directly affecting the stiffness which is changed with spring rates for example). The changes to the settings may be felt because of the "shorter time" the dampening takes affect thus it feels stiffer. I am not a suspension expert, but I do not think it is good to be 100% compressed (this means the springs are not doing anything). You may be hitting the bump stops which can cause disasterous handling results. Seems you should have the install looked at (set too low perhaps).

I am thinking they should not be compressed like that in the rear also. The fronts have some room in the smaller springs for movement.

Also, do the rear smaller springs actually do anything? They look to be in between the bottom ring and then the two middle rings. And on top are the bigger springs which move up and down. Sorry kinda hard to explain correctly.
