100 Octane & Boost ??

Guys - would I see a difference in the amount of boost (Bars) with running 100 octane and having the flashloader set with the 100 ocatne map -vs- just using crappy AZ 91 octane?

For example: If I am running 1.1 bar (with an occasonal 1.2 bar) now with 91 octane on a stage IV could I assume that with the same Stage IV set up would run 1.2 or even 1.3 bar with 100 octane and the 100 program?

When you run lower octane fuel than your ECU is programmed for, the ECU automatically pulls timing to prevent detonation and engine damage. You may not boost more PSI, but your ECU won't be pulling timing, so you will make 100% of the HP that you should be.

Get the WGs cranked up... or if that doesnt work.. and may not in ur case... upgrade tot he stiffer springs... and make sure ur tuner does it so they dial in the boost correctly... I also ran my FVD stage 4 with k24 race turbos and it only stayed at 1.1 or peaked 1.2 and then dropped off to 1.1...
and to make things worse.... I wouldnt hit 1.2 bars or so till top of the 3rd gear. i hooked up a boost controller and it help a bit... the problem is the soft WG springs... and yet they cant be too strong either.
If I only knew what I know now.
