No doubt either of these cars are real hot. I don't think the CS offers anything the doc needs "right now" and he might own one some day. When you start to amass a collection like this I guess you should be asking yourself, "What am I going to do with this car and why am I considering it?" By that I mean that while the CS is a modern car and certainly a nice shape worthy of looking at, when you have the other cars he does it really doesn't stand out as something special. I'm sure it also is an excellent drive but again by comparison what is it bringing to the table? Ask yourself the same questions about the Jag and that should lead to the right answer. No question the Jag is the rarer piece and the supply may end up disappearing into collections that hardly move. If the right one comes along, like the F40 scenario, then it's probably the better move b/c I doubt too many CS's are being held in long-term collections at the moment.

Thanks for the considered opinions...its nice to get a sampling from real gearheads, appreciate it much !
I'll be looking for some seat time in each over the next little while and then decide. I think both will provide years of visual and motoring appeal, as well as escalating in collectibility.
I think opinion questions like this are useful in that they sometimes bring to the forth issues I may not have considered....in addition to unearthing some good or not so good examples...
thanks again...

The pic of the black Jag looks Bad ***, Not too many of them.
Jag over the Ferrari for Exclusivity, but I agree with some of ther other members.
Bugatti EB110. over both.
the only one I ever saw was on a flat Bed going to a Dealer in BH.
I kept driving next to that flat Bed, the car is Beautiful and rare

My ex neighbor had a cool collection of cars. A couple Aston Lagonda sedans, Diablo. Lancia and one of my favorites was a Vector. Very cool and different. Anyhow one day he is telling about an XJ220 and how he is trying to have one imported. Some weeks later I am coming down the street and see him taking pictures of a silver XJ220! What a stunning car! There is no comparison between the XJ220 and a CS get the JAGUAR!

Either way ... Here's a link to a JAGUAR that probably won't attract too much attention because it's SOOO subtle on appearance
