Accuracy of Stock Bar Gauge -vs- Aftermarket Boost Gauge

I was wondering how accurate the stcok digital "Bar Gauge" really is versus an aftermarket boost gauge? I am installing an aftermarket gauge this week, but I just wanted to see what everyone else who has aftermarket boost gauges think about the accuracy of the stock Porsche disgital gauge?

Mark - Did you notice any difference in boost reading between the stock digital one and your aftermarket one?

I use it.. cause its instant... and I use a analog guage..... I need to know if tit really 1.3 or 1.4 bars... and it seems that the BAR one is lazy...SLOW.

the stock one *really* sucks. it's not accurate at all.

my car was reading 1.2 bar when, in fact, i was boosting up to 1.5 bar! and then, for some reason, at redline, stock gauge would always plop up to 1.3-1.4 bar but the car's only boosting 1.2 @ redline.

get a real boost gauage - stock one sucks.

compare readings when on a dyno you'll know how accurate the indash unit really is.
