spark plug update on 01 996TT

is this worth replacing as a single job now or should I wait til I need something else done that requires the "surgery" ?

what other service would make this an easier job?

Is there really a difference between the Berus and the Bosch 6's?

berus do not hold boost well. Evoms and other in the business recommend the bosch dlu fr6 plug... Berus fowl faster.

Yes David,
because they are the stock #5 (cold) plugs which now
if you go to the dealer they supply you with the #6.
As soon as you hit your first "higher boost" with stage
2, your car will miss and you will need hotter plugs.
MK. So what the dealer supplies will work (#6 Beru's),
or the Bosch's that the Experts like (also #6)

just a quick tip: when replacing spark plugs, remove the bumper and intercoolers.

it's a simple job that any person with some technical sense can do, and it gives you ample access to the plugs.

definitely replace. The boost in my car came on so much smoother once I changed to the "6's". I did it at 20k.

thanks all, trying to get plugs that will match something in some Stage II package in the future..

np Q8_TwinTurbo, ya gonna try to tackle this install yourself? I'm thinking about it after a successful brake rotors/pads install last night.

KJ,
I guess after having to wait for so long for my car to complete it's final mod, i guess i wouldn't want things to go wrong. I will have the mechanic do it. Since the engine is out of the car.
