Go with the yellow-top Optima. Since the plates are sandwiched between gel, not liquid, the life of the battery is extended. It's also stronger than the oem. I was told this by the Optima rep. You can get them at Costco for around $100.

Loosing 13 pounds is good.......loosing 25 is better .

Tom I don't know better or worse.......I suppose the Odyssey might not be adequate for some people......fine for me so far.
When evaluating dif between the capacity of the OE to the Optima to the 925CA (w/terminals & side-mount hold down from 'West Coast').....and yep it is less but still a very respectable battery. I fired off severeal mails to the Odyssey guys (Energy Sys, UK)....they seemed to think the 925 would be OK for the TT.

I have no doubt she's more than adequate for pure engine starts and normal misc accesories and can sit & hold fine. If you have more electrical demands, I think AH becomes more critical (925 is 30AH....Odysseys PC1200 is 45AH.....I think Optima is around 50.....OE maybe 70?).
