Samiz7 is infamous around these parts
Thanks Phoenix! Can anyone photoshop these BBS wheels in black and aluminum on a black TT even mine? Maybe also to have the alumi wheel with the black center?.. A would appreciate this in helping decide on which color...

Also, a question regarding the turbos - I've been told when coming to turn off the engine, I should let the turbos cool off. Question, for how long and is there a turbo switch where I can remove my key and the engine still runs for a couple of mins so the turbos can cool off???

you are talking about a turbo timer, but I don't think the majority of 911 turbo owners install them. When I had my turbo (944) I would let it run only when I drove it hard. If you are just goign around town you should be fine. I do not know what the magic number of time is to wait before shutting if off, but I am sure a minute or two would suffice. Do not quote me though

Thanks Boyracer! Why would the majority of 911 owner not install this? Does it not make sense so we don't have to wait a couple of mins before turning the engine off?

Thanks,

Sami

my guess is the electornic issues that could arise from a poor install. I have a lot of friends with DSM(eclipse/talon etc) cars that use turbo timers but I have yet to see a 911 turbo guy do it. I am sure someone here has one and they will chime in soon.

That was due to the punched out holes in the hub (back) of the rim
