Tim,

The bogey counter is more important to me than the arrows. An example with a normal radar detector let's say you go through a part of town and always get a false alarm. Pretty soon you begin to ignore this alarm because it is always a false. Woops this time there was a cop sitting right by the same spot and your busted. This happened to me.

With V1 you get a false every time but the bogey counter shows 1. As long as you only see 1 on the counter every time you go through there you know it is a false. Woops same spot and the bogey counter shows 2 radar sources. Slow down and sure enough there is a cop. This has happened to me.

No other detector can offer you that!

With arrows you also know if the cop/radar is approaching or tailing you and if you pass by the cop it will show it going to the side and then behind you. Nice feature as well.

Believe me it is alot of money but well worth it.

Mike's username is...

W8MM

If you search on the thread about who is an engineer (search on engineer) you'll find his reply and if you look at his little picture...
Hehe...

Now please don't go sending the guy a bunch of PMs asking for a group buy. He's on the list and he will see the thread, if he wants to offer us something, he will and if not... hey, it is well worth the price he is asking, especially given his upgrade/replacement policy.

I'd hate to run Mike off the list because of a bunch of people begging for a discount on a good product. If we ever have problems with our units, it will be nice to have a link to the top.

Hey, I am in for a 4th unit if we work something out and also wouldn't mind upgrading the other 3 units I already own.

andreas

But I do agree with Joe. If he wants to do something hopefully he will let us know??

thanks

Andreas

Buddy: Cool. I see. That would be good. Now, the SRX should do the same type of thing because it shows the frequency. It isn't a money thing as the SRX is about $1500 installed.

I may have to negotiate some other discount with my dealership. The windshield mount doesn't make you guys crazy?

I didn't want suction cup marks visible from the outside of the windshield either. See my previous post for pix of install.
