WOW! What a shame to have an 02 with only 6K miles! The car is still brand new!

Im holding strong at 16975...bought the car on 2/28/03!

Talk about putting some miles on the car! Im probably one of the select few to put that many miles on a TT in only 10 months.

it's a great car - he just wanted too much for it (even bringing the price down, with 14k miles he's too high)

IMHO, I would dump the Boxster buy a TT coupe or cab and use the E500 as the daily driver.

Orli - the Boxster is just way too much fun, and the E500 is just far too boring...

if you really like the boxter then just sell the e500 and get the TT (problem solved)

If you must keep the Boxter what about trading the E500 for an E55 daily driver. Mercedes comfort with near Turbo acceleration.

Do you need the room offered by the E? If not then you can replace it with a TT and be OK. If you need room then you must decide if you enjoy the Boxster enough to prevent you from getting a TT. If you've made up your mind in getting rid of the Benz, then do it and see how the Boxster does as your DD. I think you will know then.

I thought of the E55, but I think the love for the turbo is more than just flat-out acceleration. There's a visceral feeling, an enjoyment of the handling, the sound of a sports car - the E55 is just an ungodly fast luxury sedan. The E500 is pretty zippy too, with 302 (underrated, IMO) hp, but it's also about the fun factor. If I thought I wouldn't miss the top-down tossability of the Boxster, I'd get rid of it and go for the turbo and keep the E500, but I think I'll miss it too much...of course by the time I figure that out, the E500 will be gone. Southern CA is just the perfect place for a roadster.

Red Devil - I thought I'd need the room of the E, but it was mainly as a substitute family car, when we simply chose to use it instead of the Audi. I've picked up clients in it one time over a year, and that was also by choice - I dont' think I need the sedan, but of course when I get rid of it is when I'll realize if I needed it or not...
