Hearing about Woodward Ave gives me chills. Not a better place on earth to see amazing muscle cars and owners not afraid to drive them

Joe,
How does the GT2 in its current form (whatever Protomotive tuning it has)compare to the black Turbo with the GT700?

I like the feel, handling and nimbleness of the GT2 far better than the turbo. There really is no comparison in power between the two though, the GT700 hits very hard almost violently so, the GT2 as it sits now pulls hard but is somewhat laggy dur to the bigger turbos. There is also almost a 200hp difference between the two. My GT2 feels like a stage 4 car right now, which is still fast as hell, I had no problems dusting off various sports/muscle cars on Woodward Ave in it. The GT700 package just takes things to a whole new level. Any of you who own one or have ridden in one can chime in here. Several members of the forum have ridden in my 700.

Now when the GT700 meets the GT2 WATCH OUT!!!!!

Renntech, this might be a stupid question but looking at your current stable of cars you have IMO the best of the best when it comes to Porsches but why are non of the Mercs AMG's? I can understand why you chose the 600's but the CLS500? Why not get the CLS55?

oh, and NICE GT2!!

I predict low 10s with Nitto tires.

Joe,
If you need any volunteers to drive one of the cars in a back to back comparison, you know where I am at.

I got the CLS last summer when they first came out. There were hardly any 55's around, the ones that were were charging 10-15k over sticker.

Car got here today!!!

I'm loving it. I dropped the 996TT off to get the stereo taken out, I then hopped in the GT2, WOW these are two VERY different cars. The TT is much more luxury than the GT2. The GT2 had much tighter steering and handling with a nimbler feel. The clutch on the GT2 has NO hydraulic assist like the TT and gives you a better feel for the engagement points. The TT has the Bose system Which I love and the GT2 has what sounds like a transistor AM radio. Can't wait to get the 700 kit on the GT2!!!
