Bumper Cam at Mid Ohio

I downloaded a large 18 minute video of an event at Mid Ohio last year. I mounted a small camera on the tow hook and had a small mono mike in the engine compartment.

This car is mildly modified with open exhaust, Upsolute ECU, and a few other items. It was fun playing with my friends cup car! I had much more power but ultimately he would get away as my Hoosiers got too warm.

Go to Dan's FTP site and download it!

Thanks Dan for hosting.

Rsracer: Thanks. Cool vid. Looked like you were going about 8/10? Also, the cup car seemed to be pretty weak braking and shying away from the high speed turns. Am I corect?

Probably more than 8/10ths but not 10/10ths.

The owner of the Cup car was relatively new to the car. Now he is much faster and at Mid Ohio would probably leave me back.

Plus the traffic in this run group, even though it was the instructor group, was dense and full of slower cars.

rsrracer,

I like your technique in the double-apex left-hander leading in to the Keyhole.

It's just like mine ...

rsracer: Thanks for the straight up answer. No offense intended. It just seemed sometimes you were on it pretty hard and other times you backed off quite a bit. The cup car should have hurt you in the turns but as you showed, you could easily reel him in on the straights.
