Anyway i didnt even pay attention quite honestly, i just thought 60-140 was a good solid run, oh well. I use to test my m3 that way as well.
Bill
Let's do 60-140s as well, we will be comparing apples to apples vs. our 996 brothers, this way we have the same number of shifts, vs. one shift less for them in a 60-130mph run
Interesting point you bring about the stage 4, was it the same number of shifts?
Thanks for posting your runs, still have not seen almost any other new runs despite all those Ax22s floating around now.
Particularily interested in seeing a JETJOX run, that car flies apparently. Also some GT700, GT900+, etc.. Obviously any run from any car is interesting to see..
Thanks for posting.

This is absolutely correct, don't get me wrong. What I mean is that speedometer error is what makes you see those numbers. In reality, you will be shifting at around 132mph based on GPS speed while you will be seeing closer to 140mph on your speedo.
Both Bill S. and I had this experience, and I have checked the numbers for a 996 based on several of the runs seen here in the other AX22 thread...Your car is very quick I have driven a similar one with the ZC Stage 2 turbos which I guess is what you have..?

This is all after the video i filmed of my car going 40-140 and 40-100, which were extremely quick! Some people think i have hybrid turbo's because its so damm quick, but i doubt it!
Here's what I think is the first AX-22 measurement for a Ferrari Challenge Stradale:
60 to 130 MPH = 11.77 seconds
I've found the CS to be slightly quicker than a stock 996 TT during races. This time seems to confirm that.

If you live anywhere close to Bill S. you are welcome to use my AX22 when he is done with it.
Both him and I found out that video and speedometer + stopwatch is largerly prone to errors, no matter how accurately one looks at the vid. The speedometer is off and you can see 1 second differences easily once you have the AX22.. Your car does seem very fast, congrats.
Bill, great data! any CGTs in your neck of the woods?

My car def. is a freak!
How do you get 7000 RPM? My car hits the limter at 6K in first (which I understand is typical because the engine ouruns the tach). It shows 6000 but the car is running 6500. I have seen this on 4 diffrent 996TTs that I test drove before buying mine.
In all other gears the car definitely hits a 6500 limiter. I gave GIAC stage 3 (K24 program). Is a 7000 rpm limiter an option I can ask for?
