Stupid Question - Longer wheel bolts

When bolting on wheel spacers, does the TT use a stud and nut system or just a longer wheel bolt.

I guess I could answer by pulling out the lug wrench, but this a lot easier.

Hey ILL: when are your wheels coming? I'm getting antsy!

First...an OE Turbo has no spacers.
But otherwise.........for aftermarket most people just use longer bolts (for a relatively small space).
And beyond that, and most would say if you are past a point in thickness you should always use bolt-on and nut arrangement and site safety is the reason.

The 3rd group of people will say.......don't use spacers....buy the right offset

I'm using 15mm spacers with stock wheels. No choice on the offset...
