Update - I am at the airport - the plane is a couple of minutes late.

I just spoke with Alex - he is still planning to join me for poker. I just sent Martin a PM (Martin, PM me your number and call me). The start time depends on when I leave EVOMS. Probably somewhere around 8 pm, give or take an hour. It would be great if others joined. Come early, on time or late (if you get there early, put my name down on the no limit lists). PM me your phone numbers and I will call you as things develop.

Update - they just asked for 15 volunteers to deplane. I am not volunteering. Meanwhile, they have had the door open for 45 mins and it is over 100 degrees inside the plane. This is hellish.

Update - they did not get enough volunteers so they are now involuntarily forcing people to leave according to when passengers checked in. I checked in yesterday, so I am safe.

They just called out several names and no one responded. They are hiding. Its Southwest -- general seating -- so they don't know where the people are. This is insane.

WTH? I hope you get there Craig. I remember last year right around this time of the year when I picked up my car from EVOMS, 186 degrees sounds right.

 

They just announced that the temp rose 2 degrees and they have to remove 8 more passengers. My name was not called. Unbelievable.
