I did a search on a possible bad differential and came across this thread. This whining and howling sound described here is exactly what I'm experiencing when car reaches speed. The sound is almost unbearable and I'm guy who likes loud engines and exhausts. Do you guys think my differential has gone bad? If so, what is the approximate cost to have this repaired at the dealer? Thanks.
