That's some pretty good driving too. I've seen higher trap speeds not get anywhere close to running 8's

Thats some great PR. I have only seen him once but the body language and team leathers made me think it was him.

I'm thinking of getting one. ZX-14. 197 hp on a 500 lb bike wet (full tank). Fastest Production bike in the world. They call it the "busa" killer. All for a paltry 11k.

I bought a GSXR1000 when the new one came out last spring and rode it for about two months before I decided I was going to hang it up. I have ridden liters bikes and done track days and all of that for the past ten years and have ridden for 25, never thought I'd see the day when I would call it good.

That said, looks like good fun!

I heard that the new Busa will be lighter and have more power. These bikes are incredible right off the showroom floor.

Alex, (VR)
.
who is the guy in the car when the video first starts..?
.
i assume that the Kawasaki ZZ-R1200 was modded to 187RWHP because stock they are 145.2 hp.
.
ZX14 is: 177 rear wheel hp
ZX-10 is: 163.4 rear wheel hp
GSXR 1000 is: 162.1
busa: 156.1 (basically unchanged from 1999).
.
the ZX-14 and busa weight at least 85 lbs more than the gixxer 1000 and ZX -10... guess that's why my 1000 is faster to 150 than my busa..
.
9Eleven, .. i will probably purchase a ZX-14 until the the next generation busa makes it's appearance.. (about 1 year away).
.
i wouldn't want to race Alex over 150 for very long..
.
way fun..!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the great Info JR!!

He said that he had engine work, exhaust and a custom programm...after the race he said that he has NEVER been walked on by a car....Great guy with a great attitude!

I did race a busa on the freeway before and I had a harder time pulling the busa than the ZZ-R1200...must have been a modded busa or a happy dyno on the ZZR...either way both the bikes are awesome and very fast...Attachment 35570
