Here I've couple pics of my TT and my friends TT with spacer. Both car were lowered with H&R coilover and consider very low. I've put 15mm at the front with winter setup. Lock to lock with out any rubbing.

The one with black wheels have 15mm H&R spacer at rear and none at the front. Also without any rubbing.

Hope this help.

Johnny......whether they are 9s, 12s, black or white does not matter.....possibly take a look at some theads on wheel dimensions might help ya.

Offset is relative to width (11J, 12J, etc) but at the end of the day, the ET tells you 'exactly' where the outer edge of the rim will be relative to the fender. If you are ordering wheels without knowing this you are flying blind & trusting......which is fine if you're OK with it.

Then.......when in gets really close & critical, and probably not before, you can add in the factors of **what tires (don't rely on dimensions), **how low are you set up, **how stiff a suspension you have. Fender prep can get you out of a bind here, but at the end of the day, being able to adjust your height & tweek your suspenson is critical. Rake (front to rear height does affect handling at speed as does corner balance......not insignificant things on a fine car, to be thrown out the window for bling shoes).

You're asking whether you need spacers for your custom 19s (12s & 9s).....nobody spends money on custom shoes only to have to add spacers (kinda the idea they were custom).....my advice for you at this point, mount the tires (whatever you have 'chosen' and BTW, that's usually the 1st question) throw em on the car, an see if they sit in the wheel arch where you had 'planned' or invisioned.

Hopefully they are great..........good luck.

BTW........yep 14mm all around on OE hollows 'works' but if you have her set up VERY low (or not real firm) you will need fender prep. On 19s many people go 11J and 8.5 with ET as low as 42 & 30 (F/R and PS2s run a tad wider).....for 12J you'd subtract another 12.5mm.
Good luck.

GreggT...Thank you. Actually I called Victor at IForged and he told me that I am set up perfectly without spacers. He had asked me a few questions before he cut the wheels(I had forgotten)So they sit perfect...right to the lip. On Monday I'm doing PSS9 setup. I'm not going to "slam" the car but I do want to drop it about a inch, I think they told me .75 front 1.2 rears..I went with PS2...awsome tire 12 315/25 and 9 285/35...they look and feel unreal. Beat tires I have ever owned. Finally if it turns out I have to "roll the fender" thats fine too. Your right I should have asked a few more questions. I thought I had...but I'm learning and threads like this help...Thanks

Thanks for all the responses!

Although I installed 15mm spacers in front already and have NO rubbing. None at all. I have driven the car hard in the canyon, turned lock to lock and even went up a steep driveway at an angle to compress the suspention. So Far so good. The rears are next! I am not expecting any surprises.

For anyone interested, the factory wheel bolts are 45mm. I picked up some H&R spacers (which by the way did not come with the correct wheel bolts). I purchased 15mm longer (60mm) wheel bolts and it all went together. I had to ditch the factory wheel locks because they are 45mm. I wonder If that is something I can get in 60mm?

The car is lowered using FVD PSS9s and is using an X73? (something like that) suspention alignment.

I wonder if a GT2 alignment would work? Not sure of the car has enough adjustment built in for that.

wow! 285s in front? That's gotta be a record!

Be careful, the car will have a lot more front bite and may want to oversteer.

I have heard of guys using 265/35/18 on front but not 285's.What is the benefit of 265 vs stock and can you do that as well as spacers, or will it be too wide for the guard?

ARI, I asssume you mean suspension settings (vs. Alignment). Do not use the GT2 Height settings with the PSS9s as you may hit the bump stops...this is very bad for handling. You will love the FVD version (I have them myself!)

285 in the front are you kidding ....that just seems way too wide?

What is the difference in diameters 315/25 and 285/35?

LOL seriously!! 285's belong on a 10" wide wheel, not 9. You will have alot of sidewall considering PS2's run huge already, your front turn in might be sloppy now from so much rubber and sidewall, i would go with no more then 255 IMO!
