Which Exhaust system?

Have narrowed my xhaust system choices to either the europipe
stg 2 loud or perf. proj. 8. Would appreciate any comments from people that have exp. with these systems. Thanks

Fabspeed is the best god damn exhaust company around.

I have the GT3 bypass pipes. The greatest sounding car ever. I also have heard some videos of the Fabspeed supersprint for the 996 TT and GT2 and all I can do is stare at the screen and listen to this beautiful sound.

Fabspeed all the way- dont look back

I have had both a RUF and an EP Stage 2-Loud exhaust system on my previous Turbo. Both exhausts improved the performance and "tonal" quality of the car. FWIW, you can view some sound/video clips of the different exhausts on my Turbo at this SITE.
Just right click on the appropriate video and hit "save target as" for best results.

I like my custom exhaust the best.

I call it the Wilber Formula Atlantic exhaust, since it was designed by Wilber and the muffler was adapted from the FA race car.

996turbo has heard it before... it makes the Fabspeed straight pipes sound like a Lexus Best part is that the total system weights only 18.5 lbs. Who else can make that claim?

For "quiet" types, I still like Cargraphic or EP Stage 2.

I have version 8 and love it! Great sound....very large and agressive tips (85mm).

It's not as loud as a Fabspeed Supersport, but definitely louder than the Fabspeed quiet and europipe. The sound from the exhaust when coming to a stop from 3rd to 2nd to 1st is awesome. A lot of rumble/gurgle! WOT...it screams!

It's a modified OEM exhaust...so fit is perfect.

I gained 32 whp with this exhaust on a Mustang AWD Dyno.

We just took off our Performance Project (turbo-exhaust.com) Version 10 exhaust. I believe it is even lighter than that 18.5lbs. I actually liked the sound of it a lot but it is definitely loud
and has some resonance @~2500rpm. We used it for about 1000 miles
street/track. Now we've been using the car almost daily so we wanted
something a little quieter. It is MUCH lighter than the fabspeed. We also
have a GT2 which has minimal sound proofing, i would guess we would have
kept it had it been in a Turbo.
