I could have sworn this was posted already, and that the Gallardo and F430 were on Pirelli Pzero Corsa's (R compound) which wouldnt exactly be a fair test! Impressive none the less.

So, the Ferrari and Lambo were on R compounds? I would hope that they were faster if thats the case. I shaved 1.5 seconds of my lap time from just switching from 225/50/15 RA-1's to 235/40/17 RA-1's. And thats with a weak *** golf on Mosport.

Why not make it a fair comparison, all R compounds, or all normal radials?

997 gets stomped on the track. Too bad. It's pretty quick though! I guess the new GT2 will be better prepared. The 997tt probably has pretty soft suspension.

Does Porsche offer those tires as a factory option? Lambo does, so I guess thats why they test them that way. Also I dont understand why they also listed the 06 Gallardo as having ceramic brakes, as those are not available as of yet.

i'm pretty sure you are right, we discussed this earlier and all determined the Z's time were slower then any other times we had read

Option or not, i'd love to see these guys on equal tires

Also, I'm wondering if the 997 Turbo has PASM, so they can switch from normal to sport setting.
