Perhaps a 1963-1965 DB5???? They only produced 1021 of these beauties! Here is a great info page on the car: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aston_Martin_DB5

Jas, that's quite a dilemma you have there!

Hmmm.... what do I want? Let me see, I have 3 of the nicest freaking cars in the world..... what should I get next? Lamborghini LP640? Pagani Zonda? Konigssegg? Hmm..... I just don't know. How about a 959? GT1? CLK? Hmmm... Maybe something old school.... yeah that's the ticket something old school!

959's are being certified now. They have sold close to 10 of them in the US. That would be a great addition to your collection and seems to fit well with your late 80's cars (F40, XJ220) desire.

Well, after just 44 posts, the proud new owner of RufMD's car is here to out himself!!!!!

I am an occasional poster, frequent lurker and long time Porsche & Ferrari owner/enthusiast. I had the pleasure of meeting Jas via the internet a few months back when I was searching the US for a nice F40.

Over the course of several conversations with Jas regarding the pros & cons of an F40 vs. a Carrera GT, Jas kept mentioning the merits of his Ruf RTurbo 550. Lo and behold a few months later he mentioned it would be coming up for sale soon, so I jumped at the chance to pre-emptively lock up the car.

And no regrets whatsoever!!! I have had a Stradale, 550M, 525 hp 993TT, M5's, E55's, etc. and this Ruf blows them all away by a wide margin.

And best of all, Jas is a class act all the way. A true motoring enthusiast, who has become a buddy in the process of consummating this transaction. I eagerly await the opportunity to buy another car from him - perhaps the Stradale when it dawns on him how slow it is compared to the Ruf :-)

And lastly, if the earlier poster knows of any more Ruf RTurbo 550's available in the $90's, please PM me. I'll take another for my wife!

Best regards to all!
