It won't matter to me anyway, I'm taking the turbos out and going with my EVOMS GT700 kit on the car

Yes I read that, the GT700 will be a blast. Enjoy it.

I was just liked the graphs.

RENN 12,
just to be clear, what octane did the CAR have in it for the dyno.

It may be confusing becuase you STORE you high ocane fuel at the
dyno place. That does not mean you were running it in that car at the
time of dyno...

I think this is a nice and very safe package, not a high performance one of course, Sharky is right, there is a good dose of lag (I guess stock headers & cats). Although the same output (550ish FWHP) did run a 10.7 @130 or so a couple of year back in the shootout!

Oh for sure. We've done a lot of 550ish-600ish GT2s in the Bay Area and the power is balanced, safe and controllable. It could be said that the lag actually helps make it "safer" etc... The few that we've done with quicker-spooling 650-700 style kits have been downright scary Maybe I'm not a good enough driver but my panties were in danger! The way the power comes on is frightening. Much more so than in an AWD TT with even more power...

Of course man lol, look at all of you guys with the 750+ and well over that hp and tq awd cars. Of course you guys might have traction issues but then it just goes, i swear it must be a nightmare with psm and awd with that much power! I for one hate PSM with any power :/

GT2 will toast its tires up there in gears on end. BTW i agree with what you said, the little lag my car has doesnt immediately start spinning through the whole gear like my M3 did by the tap of the throttle in first, along with the suspension, wheels and tires it was meant for it. But when boost comes on i cant imagine in those cars

I know man. I'm worried that in a few years time I'll be in Nappies Maybe that's why I put a deposit down on the 997GT3 instead of.... a Turbo car?

One thing I dont understand.... we always negate the k24s... as laggy.... but why dont we ever make that connection to the gt2- after all it has the very same k24s.... and yet praise the performance...
Am I off here or did I bring up a valid point?
in a 1/4 the gt2 is faster.... where is the lag???

Exactly the point I was making.. On a GT2 the K24s and their lag are a good balance. On the heavier AWD TT, there's no need for the lag. You can put the power down very easily with quicker spooling turbos Hey Joe, maybe this means instead of the 700 you should do the 800? You know have a bit more lag;P
