From a roll its a given, but i dont mean anywhere near 10 cl's, a few is more accurate, maybe as much as 3 but then i doubt it, it wont be neck at neck either unless from a dead stop like i said, where the 996tt non x50 is clearly length's in front of the M6, and its hard to make that distance up from 12.0-1 to a 12.4-+ !
Found the race video. Stock M6 vs. Stock 996tt. I believe they go off a 60 or 80 mph roll. The M6 lets the 996 get the powerband and jump. Here.
Now the 997tt will be a good race.

A M6 would take a STOCK 996TT easily.....
And on the track, the M6 is all around a better track car; but if only the Turbo weren't AWD, that's a whole different story.......and that, my friends, is where the GT2 comes in handy

Turbo S runs 11.7-12.0, traps at 119-122. Problem with Turbo S is that it doesn't spool too good below 4K IMO. If I modded my car, I'd either have to raise redline or go with turbos that spool earlier. If anyone gets me from a roll and I'm below 4K rpm, it's very hard for me to be competitive.
It'll be interesting to see what mods come out for the M6.

One category that BMW would win as far as performance however, is technology with its iDrive. Sorry, just had to throw some humor or at least attempt to in this thread
