Thankfully she was going slow enough and at the right angle that she only hit my Bumperette and caused me *zero* damage. Not even a scratch in the paint.

Thank god for those ugly Bumperettes.

Glad everything is OK, she had no idea that she was inches away from a lot of HP and $...women drivers (don't tell my wife I said that)

 

Glad that the bumperettes did their civic duty and saved you.

 

I knew they had to have some purpose!

That happened to me the 1st week I had my turbo.....but I got hit by a Land Cruiser...hard enough to hit my head on the steering wheel w/ my seatbelt on. I thought for sure the car was gonna be a writoff when I hopped out...but to my surprise there wasn't even a scuff on the bumperettes. AMAZING thise little p-cars!!

In the first three hours of owning my 996, some old fart staggers out of the stop 'n rob where I was getting gas, smiles at the car, and hops into his beater. As I am about to start up and pull away, out of the corner of my eye I see his car backing towards me. I nailed the horn, started the car adn jammed it into first to get out of his way (barely). he had Zero clue what he almost did. Amazing. Sadly, South Florida is full of these assclowns. I am glad your car escaped unscathed.

 

Man....had me scarred for a second there Scott. Glad to see everything turned out ok. These cars can take a pretty good smack and remain undamaged. I got rear ended in my Lexus SUV a few months back enough to really lunge me forward. Ended up just a scratch on the bumper.
