WTF! - Need suggestions

As most of you know I was going to enter the shootout when my car started sputtering at boost.

Fastforward one month, it's still at the dealer!!

I'm at a loss what do at this point. Part of me want to wait it out, another part of me wants them to give me a car with the same millage, etc..

Should I got to Porsche NA? The service people don't seem to care that it's been there a month. Quite honestly I think they are working hard on it. The fact of the matter is it's still in the shop however.

Im at a loss, any suggestions would be helpfull at this point. Any expierences with simular situations would be helpfull also. I really do like my car the way I have it setup, I just need it back!

It's at McKenna. I wanted to keep at the dealer because it's still under warranty.

They just keep trying different things

They just keep trying different things. They are at a loss of what to do. I think they have put in a new fuel pump, throttle body, plugs, coil pack, ECU the list goes on. The car is practically new at this point.

I guess im not really looking for tech advise just more the approach I should take with the dealer. Trading the car outright for another one with simular mileage, etc does not seem out of the question at this point IMOH.

Well, it looks like they have tried pretty much everything...I wouldn't be surprised at all if you get a replacement car.

I would get Porsche NA involved early, and they in turn will get a regional rep to the dealer to look at things first hand.

Of course, don't settle for anything less than complete satisfaction because that is what you paid for in the first place.

Exactly, I believe someone on this forum got a new turbo because his old one was a lemon, you should PM him and ask him exactly what he did.

Make sure you ask for all the removed parts! If they're playing
blind man's buff with your car, then most of the removed parts
will still be OK and you can sell'em! I might like your ECU!

A month is ridiculous. If they were serious about fixing it, a week should be more than enough time. One well-trained tech can get through many items and I'd guess Porsche has a technical hotline for service if they encounter trouble. Demand a loaner and get Porsche NA involved right away. Your dealer is either incompetent or not trying hard enough.

If you decide to go the new car route, and it looks like you can, here is an attorney that can handle it. Trust me (one more week for film at 11). Lawrence Hutchins. http://www.hutchenslaw.com

He can help you if they won't.

Could be something in the valve train. Why not ask them to replace the engine (or the car). If it is a loose connection or leak or something simple they should have found it by now.
Since it's under warranty I doubt if they will give you the pulled parts.
