More bite?

I've never felt my brakes have enough initial bite when hitting the pedal, regardless of speed. I've bedded them in, had the fluid changed (helped some) and thought maybe the OEM pads might have been glazed in the 1500 miles before I bought the car. It's at 7500 now. Anyone think glazing would have this effect? Should I try new OEM pads or change to something else? Thanks!

AIRjordan23 is infamous around these parts
dealer told me i had my pads glazed. When they were glazed, upon pressing the pedal hard, the bite of the pads would get interrupted. Felt very awkward. Especially when wet.
The dealership cleaned the pads out from the glaze, and the car stops perfectly fine now.

If you dont take your car to the track the OEM brakes and pads are more than enough for any situation. I would have them up to normal and see what you think. Next move would be pagid orange pads.

So you're saying they cleaned off the glazed pads and put them back?
