Hehe... On a serious note, take the car to a track (find one with the least amount of walls to run off into) with a good local group and get some instruction. It's a lot of fun and eye opening to say the least! Just don't let me drive your car though...

Participate in the local DEs, definitely. Also, ask around at the local PCA gatherings. A lot of times, BMW, Viper, WRX, etc. clubs are having DEs and often welcome people from other clubs. Those are a lot fun too just see how the different cars stack up.
