It's probably a good idea to make a list for who you can believe and who you can't believe. I have one. For starters, I'd recommend adding me and Ruf-Racer to your "Can Believe" list.

I think I make the "do not believe list". Especially when it comes to oil type!

Most of the c6zo6's just run a big shot of juice..150-200. I will post a video soon of me running a c6z06 with exhauzt/cams/150shot...Should be interesting...I witnessed a 700 rwhp dyno run by a nitrous c6zo6 here in houston....

It's not surprising at all that bigger dyno numbers do not make the Z06 much faster. They are normally aspirated cars and do not get the huge torque gains a FI car gets by upping boost. It's all about power under the curve.

Nitrous is whole different animal. The cooling combined with FI effect WILL make more torque across the rev range.

I wonder how long those motors are lasting on that type of nitrous shot!!

Fanman is infamous around these parts
The person that popped his motor was running a prototype ATI Procharger unit. Hot debate on whether it was crappy tuning, or the motor just not being able to handle it.

Also, there is a thread on a few nitroused Z06's that have caught fire. Literally on the side of the road, burning wreck-type fire, not blowing the engine.

It's not that simple. Thier torque gains are commensurate with their HP gains. They do have more area under the curve. Yet their track times are not commensurate with their HP/TQ gains.
