I wheel hopped, the temp was 105 degrees, I missed 4rth gear... BTW- Im not picking on anyone.... I was one of the dumb asses myself( finding excuses at the track cause I ran only 11.5 best)....

Gary's SRT that went 10's with 1k hp... anyone notice that he was on 20" radials? when you're making that kind of power TRACTION is the limiting factor in a run.
But yes it is very possible for a car to theoretically gain power but go slower. It's all about where you pick up that power in the powerband, gearing, TRACTION, and a million other variables.
chassis dynos are nothing more than a tuning tool. If you want to get a good indication of power the engine needs to be on an engine dyno, but even then it's just a number.
If a car gains power but feels slower there is something not right with the overall package.

So I guess it can feel slower though power gains show on the dyno map.

BTW, where can i buy an AX22, i would love to post up some recorded times on that, not just my videos!
since i *think* this thread is about a ford gt...
i'd love to get an AX22 on one of these. if the speedo is accurate, its doing 60-130 in about 5 seconds w/ stock motor

Someone is full of %#*()*@
And my hunch is that it isn't Kevin. Don't bull**** a bull****ter
If you're going to make claims the car went fast thats up to you, but it would be wise to know the score before hand.To claim that an SRT (of which none have come close to 8's yet) put .2 on the fastest 6 spd GTS (and also fastest 6 spd street car ever built) that was built as an all out drag car, on a much better chassis to begin with is more than just a little stretch of the truth.
I know a lot more about YOUR car than you think, so it would be in your best interest not to talk **** you can't back up.

I was told, my car had bigger turbos installed (after I sold the car to them), and AEM installed, and it ran that number.
Again, Who are you referring to? You can take your attempted flaming and ultimatums to some other forum of your liking. I don't have to back up ****...I simply stated what was told to me. They have no reason to lie.
