Fire Extinguisher Mounting help needed

Guys,
I need some help. I want to create an installation like this one in Watt's car:

I know where to get the extinguisher but the mounting poses a problem. I spoke with Brey Krause and the only solution they have is this one:

It is made up of 2 pieces, the black antisubmarining bracket and the aluminum fire extinguisher bracket. They are to be used together. Yes it looks slick and it will work, HOWEVER, I already have the Porsche AS brackets that I paid good money for. Is this the only solution?

I cannot mount the extinguisher on the rollbar since the camera mount occupies that location.

Anyone have any ideas???

Did you check Renntech??? I think I saw a few threads while browsing last night with regards to fire exting....
I'll look em up again and post.
Also, has anyone looked into the parts used on the GT3/GT2 Clubsport? I think going with factory is less of a hassle

I just got prices from OG Racing for the 2 brackets shown above. The Black AS bracket is part #R-9030 and the silver piece is part # R-2030.

If I buy 1 of each, my price is $88 and $80 respectively. If we get 10 or more people to buy, they are $64 and $60 respectively.

So, the question is, ARE THERE ANY GT3 SEAT OWNERS OUT THERE THAT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN A GROUP BUY???

Ken, I need the sub bar and extinguisher mounts also but since I haven't pruchased anything yet, I planned to do the Brey Krause system. If you were starting fresh, which way would you go?

this may sound crazy, but what about mounting it on the floor or center console of the passenger side? I have seen two 360 modenas this way. It looked great, did not get in the drivers way, and could still be reached (assuming the passenger side hasn't caved in).

Tim,
I like BK's product line. Even though they started as towel bar manufacturers as evidenced here http://www.breykrause.com/, somebody there got a line on the racing market and expanded upon it. The AS bars are much more substantial units from BK as compared to the Porsche/Recaro versions so they are the way to go. That said, the plate mount bolts right to it so it seems to be a no brainer. I bought the Porsche AS bars before knowing of the BK units otherwise BK would be the way to go for the AS belt attachment as well as the integrated fire extinguisher mount.

JAS,
I know you can mount it there, but, as I said, my camera is mounted there.

Looks cooler mounted on the roll bar too...(viewed from both the inside and outside of car), on the Diagonal, IMHO

Thanks Chris, it was mounted to the front of the stock passenger seat with the BK mount and it always seemed to get in the way.

OK, since a few have asked, AkkuratPGI is working on a new aluminum FE bracket that does not need the BK anti-sub bar for those that already have the Porsche a-s bar, or don't want the an a-s bar. It also can be installed without removing the seat, is lighter than the BK set-up and is planned to be predrilled to match the nice Safecraft billet bracket saving some additional additional $$$.
If all goes well, maybe a few more weeks till production.
