1st time at the dragstrip

Went and had a few runs.
It was a blast. My fastest time was 12.475@ 117.40
I think I found a new hobby.

Good job, man. I always smile when people that have never drag raced realize how fun it is when they finally try it.

i Personally beleive that you can manage in the 12.0-12.1 second region, considering you get a good launch (60ft time in the 1.8x). Good luck and play it safe.

I think you can get a stock 996 TT into the 11s with the right conditions.

Sweet. Thx for posting. Its always nice to see how the 996tt's are doing out there. Your 60 ft time wasnt so good. It seems like you would be at 12.1 with a better launch. What were the conditions like?

That 117mph trap seems rather low considering your mods. I ran 12.29 @ 116.25mph with the turbo exhuast v8.0 and my 19" HREs. I am running stock boost (ECU has never been touched). Did you ever trap higher than 117.40mph?

Nice run. How much is the exhaust alone supposed to give you w/o flash?? I have a stage 2 and I had a few runs at 116 before getting 119.

I think the temp was around 75 or so. Not sure on the other items like humidity and stuff.

That was my highest trap of the day. I'm sure my driving is not the best as it can be. I'm going back tomorrow to see what I get now that I know what to do.
