Question about my 2001 Navigation System
I have a 2001 TT with the older CD based navigation.
Why is it that when I set my navigation to get me to a destination, the female voice initially guides me, but eventually cuts out? When I first start out with the navigation, the music cuts out, and the female voice tells me where to make turns. Later on in the ride, however, the music cuts out when I need to make turns, but the female voice is no longer there. I have to rely on the turn indications on my navigation screen to find my way.
What am I doing wrong????

I assume you have adjusted the volume control in the menu. I think since I have the same unit....that it is just really slow and keep up. I notice if I have to detour from an exit, that it just keeps recalculating forever.
