iPod Gateway 500 interface now available....

I've been waiting for this....

www.dension.com/icelinkgateway500.php

Will likely order one very shortly to replace my auto-changer.

They claim it's available in August and I read on an MB forum someone has already installed it and loves it.

We have a group buy started, been going for two months or so.

Email me to get on that list. We are Dension distributors. First units are for nav only cars, '03 to present.

Email me:

Year/Model
Nav?
CD changer?
Bose?

Thanks.

eric@bumperplugs.com

This group buy will be final in less than a week.

2001 will not need this as you have a pre-MOST system. You already have aftermarket iPod connections available.

Unit is NAV only first, then non-nav units will follow in about 30 days.

MSRP is $599.

The link shown in the post above is NOT the US product.

The US product is completely different. For '03+ model years.

Email me to get on this list, final details in a day or so.

Count me in....

Hi Eric,

I've sent you a PM regarding an interface for my TT.

Interestingly I'm reading on an MB forum that the unit being supplied for the US is the same as described in the link I provided.

So I'm wondering what the difference might be ?

Doubtless all will become clear in time.

Tim

I am wondering about the installation procedure... Will it require professional efforts or is it almost plug and play.... Any known southern Cal installers for this unit if it requires pro help?

Installers will be identified, and pro install is recommended.

Final units are installed and testing here in US right now. There are differences between the US and Euro products.

More to follow....

Thanks.
