It is really super cheap to have the rebuilt / serviced by Bilstein, compared to buying new ones.

Quote: KW3's - Installed today, first impressions:

Wow Wow Wow! These coilovers ride better than I could have imagined. Firmness of a race spring but is not harsh on the street. Sharp bumps are muted and taken up by the high-speed bump feature excellently. My car feels completely different and way more sure-footed.

Before, the ride was sketchy at 100. Briefly got her up to 125 today, way rock solid and no washiness. The ride on crappy streets is superb.

I don't know how KW pulled of this combination of smooth street ride while maintaining performance-flatness in corners, but it works. No more bump steer either.
Only way I can maybe describe it is a combination of PSS9 nice ride combined with Cross performance.
I have the fronts / rears set to "neutral" for a week to let them break in, will get them dialed in and car aligned next weekend.

Anyone considering a good set of coilovers should really give the KW's fair consideration, I am truly impressed!!
I'm doing nothing but driving tomorrow...
They are able to do it by having a well-built damper with adjustable lowspeed damping that controls body roll (tracks-flat) and a digressive damping curve and well-designed highspeed damping which is pre-set by KW and allows the car to float over apex curbing, bumpy roads, etc... keeping the car stable and tires on the ground generating grip.

We've worked with them on everything from NSXs (3-way motorsports dampers and V3) to M3, Porsche, 350Z, EV0, S2000, etc... I think they are great dampers and the double-adjustable V3's are hard to beat at any price but especially for their price point. The performacne and quality are top notch.

KW V3 droplinks... Are they 2 identical ones, or 2 mirrored ones?

My kit came with 2 identical ones (not mirrored) and with the way the ears sit on the actual front struts, one of the sides did not look pretty either resting or when turning full lock (rubs against the nut that locks the shock in the hub). I'm wondering if they were supposed to ship mirrored drop links.?
