Do you think porting the headers is worth it..?

The uppgrded acuators i have seen at EVOMS so i can buy them there

Im thinking of running race pipes= No cats and no muffler just stright 3 inch
Yes do the porting on the headers.. u can do it urself.. I have pics...
I had race pipes as well... FVD is good for that because they turn off the 02 sensors...
Im also a partner in a evo tuning CO.

Tackar!
These are my pipes I had made... and the headers were ported on the inside where the welds are ugly. I had them coated on the outside but not required. It helps with the velocity( air flow).
Kevin from Ultimate motorwerks is an expert and he as well as other tuners recommend stock headers for applications under 600 HP.( nothing wrong with after market headers but not really needed).
The turbos were my last setup - Stage 5 ZC k16/26 hybrids with custom 1 bar springs...

good Idea.... as far as the headers... u need one day on them max and its done... they come off easy... do it now and get it over.. especially if u will be doing the springs... U need a air compressor with a bit for grinding.. thats it... then once u finish... run alot of AIR and water thru them to get rid of the metal shavings stuck inside...
Also, VERY IMPORTANT... do a pressure test via one of the turbos... and look for leaks... Im sure you will find a surprise leak... we all did... that way you can prevent form guessing later...( do it after your upgrade).

Okey...

I have a BIG work shop so a compressor and Air grinder is no problem at all, but i think i will do that in the winter, with the uppgraded WG...

It's like only 2 month driving left here before it's to cold

Is it really the same Wastegate´s on a 996tt and a 996gt2?.
Isn´t the max boost pressure higher in a stock gt2 than a 996tt(1,0bar vs 0.8).

One thing i have been thinikig of i want to discuss also, i live here in Sweden and the climate and fuel is the same as in Germany, would in not be dangerus for me to run a Software uppgrade from Giac or something simular, isn't it better to run a FVD box or maybe a 9ff box that are made for the fuel and climate we have..?
