Not everyone with a 6 speed...

Brake boosting knocked .2 seconds of my 50-70. With warmer weather and traction, it will do considerably better...

a modified Tip car with an aftermarket stall would make a really nasty 60-130 beast!

An EPL tuned 6spd car do it, one of these days I'm going to do a brake boosting v no brake boosting 60-130 comparison. I expect to to offer a bit quicker time, but am anxious to see how much of a difference. We've got some good weather this week, hopefully I get a chance to take the old girl out with the Performance box.

I tried, but it was too cold, but I think brake boosting is good for at least another couple tenths if not 3.

I would imagine that the bigger and laggier that the turbos are the more a car would benefit from brake boosting.

Correct, but also keep in mind most are starting at 40-50mph and just starting to get into boost when the 60mph start point hits, if you can start at 50mph and be full boost at the press of the gas, you're going to be operating at likely full boost when 60 hits.

Yup, I am usually at 1.0 to 1.1 by the time I hit 60. Next time out, I am going to try starting about 40-45mph, brake boosting. Keep trying different MPH's to find the optimum.

No I am just saying that big turbo cars would benefit more, do you think a higher stall converter would make a decent difference in times as well on the tip cars?

It will benefit larger turbos more, but a K16 car should benefit as well from the go. Not sure how much a high stall would help in a 60-130, haven't played with a tip car much yet here in house.

Peter here is a link to the calculator Matt uses (I am pretty sure).

We are almost sea level here in Friendswood, but I am not sure about any other areas. It should not be much of a difference because of the fact that we don't have any major hills or mountains in the area.

Blackhorse's car is nasty. I can't wait to see future 60 to 130 times from that car as it gets ironed out even more. I was really impressed with the spool on Jitsu's car as well there seemed to be virtually no lag.
