FVD customer service, 1st installment...

Just got off the phone with Evan, and I'm impressed. In another thread I had expressed some disappointment with their ecu tuning of my GT2 that was done a couple of years ago. I had purchased a spare ecu from the prior FVD distributor. Evan read the post and initiated an inquiry to find out the source of my dissatisfaction. As a result FVD has really come forward to try and resolve it. I won't post their efforts unless Evan clears it because they are rather extraordinary. Suffice it to say that I will need to spend a day on the dyno. Pretty cool.

Hi John,
I can't tell you how much a post like this means to me/us. The only reason I work so hard is to make sure individuals such as yourself are happy in the end. My personality and drive will not allow an unhappy customer so I will do all I can to change that! I am glad you were willing to let me make it right and I am sure we will be able to!

Please feel free to post about your experience and what we are doing. What we will be doing is we will be sending John 3 seperate DME's with 3 difference FVD programs labled "A", "B" and "C". John is going to dyno and drive with each of these programs, pick the one he likes best and at that time send the other two back to us!

John's original ECU was purchased in July of 2003. 3 years later we are going to ensure John stays a happy FVD customer at our cost of course! We are a company that even after 3 years, backs our products and takes care of our customers to the best of our ability. FVD is here to stay and we are improving in all areas (including Customer Service) every day!

Thanks again for the opportunity to work with you John and I hope you are happy when your DME's arrive next week!
Best Regards,
Evan

I agree, I bought the 993tt cat bypass pipes from ***** several years ago. I then decided to add the FVD exhaust. The combination of cat bypass pipes/sport exhaust did not sound good and I asked to return the mufflers. ***** offered to take them back for a full refund. On another occasion, they shipped the wrong part from Germany and after taking it back, they discounted some future purchases to make up for the mistake. So, personally, I have no reservations dealing with FVD. For those of you that may not know...***** Brombacher is the owner of FVD and used to be very active in US sales.

Thats is really impressive and the sign of a high quality orgainization. I wish I would have bought my original exhaust from FVD instead of the other brand. They would not take it back when I did not like after 30 minutes of driving it.

Gunther - dump your old exhaust and buy Evan's used one - great deal & HP. Might help on your overall cost since buying/selling used(?).

I dumped that piece of crap right after I made the mistake of buying it. I have a Miltek exhaust that I will install next weekend. I'll let you know what I think then.

Thanks for the advice!!!
