isaacly is infamous around these parts
you should invest in a turbo timer.. dont have a 911 turbo, but a 300zx tt. turbo timers are a must on turbo cars, even if you dont boost that much.

No need to have a turbo timer, just make sure you idle or drive slow the last bit....

you can't use turbo timers on 911s...

If you are getting smoking out your 996T's exhaust, it's likely going to be one of these items:
* engine oil level too high -- check when the engine is fully warmed up
* turbochargers worn -- remove rubber/plastic fresh air hose into the turbo compressor, check the compressor shaft for play (spec <0.8mm play)
If there is oil in the intake pipes, it's not the turbos -- probably oil being drawn into the fresh air path from the oil tank breather (tank too full)
* worn valve stem seals and/or guides -- no easy way to check these

If there is oil in the intake it most definately can be the turbo, as a matter of fact, most likely the turbo. Just pull the inlet to the turbo and any oil is not good. Kevin

i also get it just from the passenger side...only on cold start up and I ALWAYS let the car idle for just over 1 min when parking...
