So my official Porsche dealer replacing these with OEM items but stronger clamps during 40,000 KM sevice, whats the labour costs of replacing the full monty with stronger hoses ( but I'm not paying $1,500 for the Evoms parts as well )

 

I thought the EVOMS part were on-sale for less than $1G.

 

try turbohoses.com in NorCal and yes, better T clamps are a must.
Most of the 'kits' end up being supplied by these guys anyways.

 

I really think on these cars upgrading to silicone boost hoses and upgraded diverter valves should be standard "preventative" maintanence. My 2 cents!

 

The divertes r a no brainer......... when you see the stock units you just shake your head that they are part of this machine. The hoses are a great upgrade and I think they are available for under 1,000

 

yep call alex at shark werks just got a set for under 1000.00 (pretty red ones)

 

i just got a set for evo
and then put the car on dyno gain 7hp
it is worth it !!!
Evo was $ 995

 

gained 7 hp really... added the hoses along with evos new ics (got em from alex) sooooo the ics seem to be very strong as far as maintaining bost and better responce did not relize hoses gave a hp gain...

 

The stock hoses even when not out actually bleed boost anyway...
