stage 4 vs. stage 4GT
stage 4 vs. stage 4GT
I was hoping to get some opinions regarding an upgrade to stage 4GT from stage 4. My 2003 is generally my daily driver and the gas in Arizona is terrible, i.e. mostly 91 available. Do the benefits of stage 4GT generally outweigh the inconvenience of making special trips for the right fuel? As a result of this forum I am addicted to HP and enough is never enough. Sorry if this is an elementary weenie question for you established 6 speeders.
If you're looking to save a lotta bucks then call Stephen at www.imagineauto.com because he had one left over spare Stage IV kit (plenty fast) on special....
If you don't have access to 100 octane that's probably what I would do anyways.

OK well I would still look and see how you can get 100 octane. If it's legal to store it at your house you can just get deliveries of 103 octane from VP Racing in 55 gallon drums... The power difference is very cool obviously...
And Shank is right. You live right next door to Todd at EVO
I just saw the HP listings of Shank's cars. 4GT is now officially a done deal one way or another.

PS I just found out my local 76 will no longer sell 100 octane. Bastards!

Boy guys, please don't underestimate the dangers involved in storing a 55 gallon drum of gasoline. This is not to be taken lightly! If you have kids, don't even consider it. If you don't, then please talk to me about appropriate safety equipment (I'm a chemical engineer with experience with flammables).
Hi Chad, as of when? Some friends went there last night and they no longer have it. In fact, 76 lost the Nascar license and is no longer selling any kind of racing fuel from the pump apparently... Some other places have contracts with VP Racing to still deliever it to their pumps but I don't know in the Bay Area
