Well,

I ended up going to the Detroit Auto Show last Thursday and man was it awesome! There are many entrances and the entrance I chose just happened to throw me right into the Porsche display! I saw so many cool cars and I have to say that the Carrera GT was the best. It looks so good in person! There was always a huge crowd around it too. Best in Show in my opinion!

Now other cool stuff I saw:

New Corvette is awesome
New Mustang is a throwback to like a 60's Mach one and is sweet!
Ford GT rocks my world!
Ferrari 612 is very nice in person
So the Bentley Continental GT looks realy good.
Chevy GTO is wicked for $35 g's
Pontiac Soltice for $20 g's what a deal way to go Pontiac
BMW sucks thanks to Chris Bangle
SLR is really ugly in person

Pontiac hit the nail squarely on the head with this one. I have liked the Solstice ever since I first saw it several years ago. I am very happy they decided to build it. It should prove to be a tremendous seller in my opinion. I find it to be very aesthetically pleasing.

yep, the american car companies are rolling out some beautiful products. if they can be decent and reliable for a change, combined with the weak buck they may win back a lot of market share.

Your right about that new little Pontiac it really is a cool looking car.

The Ferrari 612 I really dont like, I'm not sure why they took the ugliest Ferrari (465) and then made it uglier by taking the air intakes away.

The Ford GT does rock

Did you see the Hummer H3 Prototype? It looks really good.

 

Nice car you are right. It reminds me of that car that Jaguar was going to build but cancelled. I forgot the name of it... Maybe have been the F-Type if I am not mistaken?

I saw the H3 and it was pretty sweet as well. The H1 has an all new interior too.
