A standing mile in an R turbo...video

We werer at Bruntinthorpe proving ground and were able to see what the car could do. So from a start we hit 190mph over one mile. 0-180mph in 26.4 seconds. Also this was in the rain as well

Well here is the video, hope you guys enjoy...its just of the speedo, which should give a really good impression of acceleration

all the best

speedo cam

Cool video. I once did the same with my evo stage 4 996tt on a cold dry day. I compared times on a video editor(frame by frame) and here is what I got ---
______Evo stage4_____Ruf
0-100____7.54________8.57
0-125_______________12.23
0-126____11.15
0-160____19.05_______19.5

This is similar to a prior analysis against a Ruf TurboR on video. Your slower initial times probably represent poorer driving conditions(rain and temperature). The Ruf cars are 'animals' at high speed. I have no doubt you would 'clean my clock' up to 186mph. I swear you guys have more HP than advertised!

Absolutely brilliant stuff, your analysis was spot on,

All the cars made by RUF have that little bit extra, though im not allowed to state our exact bhp,

Is there anywhere you could safely run your car to 190mph o see the time?

Thanks again for the analysis, good stuff, and ill try and get some more figures in better conditions

all the best
