sure with the right tires.......... the fear that I have is someone hitting me. I probably drive mine a couple of time during winter.... if the roads are dry and the salt is gone.

The car's height clearance is still in issue for the handfull of days we get over 6" of snow. For those days plan on other transportation.

Well Im in Chicago and I dialed in 80K miles on my TT. I did drive it about 9 months of a year. last few years we only got 2 snow falls per year... other then that it is possible. however, the salt eats away at ur turbos very fast.

Yeah don't **** with the salt here, it eats your **** like no other. Buy a Grand Cherokee for snowy/salty days cause you won't give a **** what happens to it, it's great in 10 inches of snow, and if people hit you, oh well.

I drive my 996TT year round in Chicago with no problems. The fact is it snows heavy about 5 times per year. The street are cleared real quickly here. Why would I not buy the car I want for that? If I know the snow will be real bad I call Enterprise Rent A Car for $65/day.

The all wheel drives get great traction in the snow. With good snow tires only though.

Call me if I can help.
