Hehe, yeah when I said "tracking" I meant circuit racing. Apart from driveline drag racing is a lot kinder on your car than circuit racing!

You are dead right, the electronics that make the 996TT so great for street driving also conspire to reduce it's ability at the drag strip. You can turn PSM off for the launch, but I feel the fun police at work during the pass.

I'd like to get the right "look" for the rubber on the rim filling out the rear guards. Just not sure what spacers would suit.

Thanks for your comments.
Ah ok Kenny, i only mentioned wider rubber along with the PSM because it wants to grip, loose traction and grip again LOL, it bugs out the computer!

As for the 315's, of course it will give a good look, i just hope it wouldnt look too big for the rim, as it is the stock 295 have a nice little rubber protection lip around the outer edge, and as for spacer's 15mm is the perfect size for look, widening the track and filling out the fender. 18mm would probably work with stock tires, that's a maybe too, witht he 315 i highly doubt it without some fender rolling. But hey, there's a solution for every problem
