U can also do it with a oil filter removal tool... the kind that straps around the filter.... NOT METAL.... it's rubber. U turn it the same way ... It works I used it a few times... cheap and u can get it at pep boys...

No kidding! I figured they were tighter than that. So I guess anything that will grip it tight without marring will work. As I understand it, all it needs is a 90 degree counter-clockwise turn and it releases, right?

I don't recall which way u turn it but u need to align the holes and then it pops off.. the oil removal tool is the kind that has a rubber strap.

Hmmm, I just recieved my CF wing and was wondering would anyone in the Socal area be willing to help? Sorry to intrude in this thread but didn't want to start a new one since I'm actually looking for the same help. If this is inappropriate I would be more than happy to delete this post. Thanx.

counter clockwise looses. So the machanism is very simple. when you loosen it it opens teeth that hold a bar in the middle of the spoiler hole. You will need to remove the large allen metal piece out of the stock spoiler or buy a new one from Porsche. that metal piece has a metal bar that gets clamped around like teeth. the turning tightens/loosens the teeth on to the bar. Just FYI
