2004 Gt2

Car and Driver notes that this years GT2 not only has engine tuning to 477 hp, but also "new chassis, suspension and brakes"

Any idea what they are referring to? Is the GT2 going to have a more supple ride?

As far as I know the only significant changes to the '04 GT2 are

1) Optional CF package (door mirrors, front diffusers, rear wing top section)

2) GT3 wheels in GT2 sizes

3) Revalved shocks from GT3

4) Slight powerbump through ECU changes

I don't see how the brakes could be different, unless they revised the PCCB for 2004, or unless they retuned the ABS programming.

As far as chassis, I don't know of any changes.

But for the power bump and ABS upgrades, all you would have to do is reflash the programming with the '04 programming or swap for an '04 computer? Can anyone comment on this?
