How to Disable 996TT Spoiler?

Just had the GT2 wing put on today, and I think it looks too high when it raises at 75 MPH. How can I easily disable this automatic spoiler raise? Also, does the wing provide any added benefit in the raised position? It's really high when it raises.

Also, can I disable the "auto-raise" but still keep the manual button functional so I can raise it manually if I want to?

Car's going to Sol @ Perfect Power tomorrow, and I'm sure he knows the answer to this. So if I find anything out, I will be sure to post it here. In the mean time, if someone has the solution to this, please reply.
