Jeezzz, I hope not.......3 days ago...sitting at a light....light turns green...I blip the throttle and as I start to let out the clutch about an inch, POP...my shifter jumps out of first......

Fast forward.....the next day......it does it three times.......and about three times a day since.......

So, of course, I've heard about the popping out of gear upon DECEL........ands that necessatates a $6000 rebuild.....but I've never hear of it popping out when I blip the throttle and BARELY let out the clutch...I mean the car hasn't even started to move at ALL.......

I seem to recall someone having something simular happening and it ended up being a cable adjustment?

Opinions??

****.....hoping this isn't gonna drastically cut into the mods budget......

Damm man crazy, haven't heard of that issue before! I hope its nothing to serious especially cost wise , goodluck man

 

I would think the linkage is not properly aligned. Sounds like when you are in first gear, it is not engaged 100% (shift linkage off) and causing the car to jump out of gear.

I am not a pro, but am just hoping that is the issue, and easy fix. I have never heard of a 1st gear issue on the turbos.
