There have already been lot of comparisons. I am not sure I could add much. The Z06 is nice, but it is not a Porsche. The Z has great raw power...and it sounds glorious when you put your foot into the 427 cubic engine. I also love the look of it. The interior is cheap looking, although I do have seats with deviated stitching. The Bose stereo does not sound very good.

In fairness, my TT has a pretty kicking aftermarket stereo, nice wheels, a Stage 4 kit, etc. I probably have $170K in my Porsche and only $73K in the Corvette...so from that point of view the Corvette is VERY competitve.

I think it is a great car, but it just doesn't have the soul of a Porsche. My TT is almost 6.5 years old and I grin from ear to ear everytime I drive it...the Z06 just doesn't move the same way.

How does it compare in terms of acceleartion and handling?

There was some discussion here that a 600HP TT is probably a good match for a 500HP Z06 in acceleration.

I also read that teh Z06 is a great handler but numb in comparison to the Porsche. Basically great at taking corners but lacking in subjective feel...?
